The Kasbah Mediterranean Qsine is a local  restaurant  featuring homemade farm to table  Mediterranean  delights  from  Greece,  Lebanon,  Armenia,  Italy  and  France. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily along with Chef’s daily creations. All  the  breakfast,  lunch and dinner  menus  feature  several  items  that  will  cater  to everyone as well as those who enjoy a more spicy choice such as Armenian sausage, Souvlaki,  Shawarma, and Pasta.  All menus also have many vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. The Kasbah has an extensive wine list featuring many local wines as well as wines from Greece and Italy, specialty cocktails such as the famous Santorini, Bellinis, Margaritas, Daiquiris, and domestic and imported beers (both bottled and draft). The restaurant is 6,000 square feet which features a 30 seat private party room, a 100 seat dining room and a 60 seat bar & lounge along with a 40 seat patio. After being in the in the restaurant industry for over 25 years, it was time for Niagara Falls  to  sample  the  incredible  cuisine  of  Vaughan  Bulganian  at  The  Kasbah Mediterranean Qsine located 6130 Dunn Street, Niagara Falls. Vaughan was born  in  historical  Armenia  and grew up in  a  monastery  in  Jerusalem where he learned the true art of cooking Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food and to this day, does not waver from it.  He believes that if you are going to say it is Middle Eastern or Mediterranean and serve it to your customers; you better make sure it is only made the authentic way. Nothing else will do!

In  1987,  Vaughan  immigrated  to  Canada  and  from 1987  to  2000,  worked  at  three restaurants called Ida’s Falafels in Montreal, the Double V. Middle Eastern Kitchen and the Sunset Restaurant.  In 2000, Vaughan branched out on his own and opened up a restaurant called Vaughan’s International Cuisine on St. Paul St., St. Catharines which operated until 2013. The silent owner, having tried his amazing authentic food from his previous restaurant, Vaughan’s International Cuisine, felt it was time for his return. She along with the many of her customers miss the true taste of the Middle East and the Mediterranean and what better place for them to return than in the heart of Niagara Falls at the location of the old Love Boat II.

Vaughan is not only a great chef with an amazing personality, but also has many years of experience in the restaurant business and knows what it takes to run a successful restaurant. He knows that it takes reliable tasty food, impeccable service and a friendly atmosphere along with reasonable prices. Vaughan’s truly unique food including his famous home fries, hummus, garlic pudding,secret house dressing and hot sauce (if you dare to try) along with his always happy go lucky personality will truly delight you and it will be an  experience you will never forget. For that reason, many of Vaughan’s customers have followed him from restaurant to restaurant over the years. When you are at The Kasbah Mediterranean Qsine, Vaughan will always be happy to say “Hello” and of course, ask “What’s up Buddy”!

In April,  2015, the Kasbah Mediterranean Qsine was pleased to welcome Executive Chef, Eli Ohanian and The Kasbah could not be happier.  Eli has been a chef for many years and his breadth of experience includes working at the Gatehouse, Inn on theTwenty and Chef/Owner of Bistro on the Forty. His farm to table art of cooking and presentation is like no other and each dish will make your mouth water.   When you are visiting the Kasbah, it will be hard to choose what to order as all of the food is amazing including Eli’s incredible pan seared scallops to his homemade gnocchi and mouth watering homemade chocolate mousse. Eli  Ohanian  is  a  wonderful  addition  to  the  Kasbah  Mediterranean  Qsine  and  The Kasbah is sure that all of its customers will agree.
